Day 1 in Florida kicked off with cool style as thousands of car enthusiasts entered the South Florida Fairgrounds for the 2025 Palm Beach Auction on Thursday, April 24. Guests were treated to a wide variety of collector cars and automobilia – all selling with No Reserve – along with interactive displays and demonstrations from exhibitors and sponsors throughout the site.
The Barrett-Jackson Performance Track was a popular attraction, as guests lined up to take a Thrill Ride in the latest vehicles from Dodge, which included the electric 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T in addition to Hellcat-powered Challengers and Chargers. Thrill Rides take place each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and are included with admission.
In the afternoon, attendees were treated to tips and tricks from the pros during the Adam’s Detailing clinic, held each day from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Adam’s Polishes Detailing Tent near the South Showcase. The Barrett-Jackson Patio, a new feature at the Palm Beach Auction, offered a nice place to enjoy some shade and live music from a DJ with an assortment of food options nearby.
Members from the Fort Lauderdale Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and the Gold Coast British Sports Car Club stopped by to take in the sites and experience all The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions has to offer in Florida.
Of course, the bidding action in the arena itself was the main draw of the day. The morning’s activity began with over 100 examples of automotive memorabilia up on the block during the Automobilia Auction. Top sales included:
- LOT #6279 – 1946 MOBILGAS M/S 80 GAS PUMP
- LOT #6285 – LATE 1940s MARTIN & SCHWARTZ MODEL #80 GAS PUMP IN HARLEY-DAVIDSON REGALIA

Over 175 collector cars took their turn on the block on Thursday, including the first of six vehicles earmarked for charity: a 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10. The special convertible raised $87,000, with 100% of the hammer price benefiting the Florida Highway Patrol Advisory Council, which provides support to the families of troopers who lose their life or sustain life-threatening injuries in the line of duty. Three additional charity vehicles will take their turn on the auction block on Friday, April 25, with the remaining two on Saturday, April 26. Other sales highlights from the day included:
