LOT #3002 – JEROME BETTIS’ 2025 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 CONVERTIBLE VIN 001 – $200,000
On Day 2 of the 2025 Palm Beach Auction, three charity vehicles rolled onto the world-famous auction block, igniting cheers from the crowd as they helped raise vital funds for deserving causes, raising $370,000 between the three special vehicles. The heartfelt moments unfolded on Friday, April 25, alongside a docket of over 200 No Reserve collector cars.
One of the day’s most exciting moments was the sale of Jerome Bettis’ 2025 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible, VIN 001 (Lot #3002). The crowd cheered as the hammer dropped with Bettis on the block alongside Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson and President Steve Davis for the $200,000 sale. The entire sale price goes to The Jerome Bettis Bus Stops Here Foundation – an organization dedicated to providing educational, recreational, developmental, and financial assistance programs for underserved youth.
Edsel Ford II – great-grandson of Henry Ford and grandson of Edsel Ford I – was joined by renowned British racing driver and former F1 broadcaster David Hobbs for the charitable sale of a custom 1965 Superformance MKIII roadster (Lot #3001.1). Together with Jackson, Davis and Linda Vaughn, known as “Miss Hurst Golden Shifter,” they watched as the car crossed the block for $110,000, all benefiting Breakthrough T1D (formerly known as JDRF) in support of Type 1 diabetes research and advocacy.

Designed in partnership with RealTruck, the one-of-a-kind truck raised $60,000 for the Social Change Fund United, a nonprofit co-founded by Wade that harnesses collective influence and resources to drive meaningful impact in underrepresented communities of color.
