LOT #759 – 1959 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 283/270 CONVERTIBLE – NO RESERVE
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. ‒ April 16, 2025 – Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, is offering stunning examples from every generation of “America’s Sports Car” during the Palm Beach Auction, April 24-26, 2025, at the South Florida Fairgrounds. This year’s docket of Chevrolet Corvettes spans over seven decades and includes a stellar selection from a professionally restored 1959 283/270 convertible finished in Panama Yellow with Snowcrest White coves (Lot #759) to legendary NFL player Jerome Bettis’ 2025 Z06 convertible VIN 001 (Lot #3002) that will be auctioned for charity. Every Corvette crossing the block during this year’s Palm Beach Auction will be offered at No Reserve.
“The Chevrolet Corvette has become the quintessential American sportscar and has made a profound cultural impact on generations of enthusiasts,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “The first production Corvette ushered in a new era of American automotive design and soon became a cultural icon across the country. We have some amazing examples of Corvettes crossing the block like the custom 1967 Chevrolet Corvette built by Hotrod Dynamics (Lot #747) that are each a testament to the enduring passion for every generation of the Corvette.”
The recipient of a meticulous professional restoration, the 1959 Chevrolet Corvette 283/270 “Dual Quad” convertible (Lot #759) is one of only 1,846 of 270 horsepower “Dual Quad” Corvettes produced for that model year. Interior features include new carpeting with matching floor mats, a restored instrument cluster, a new AM/FM radio and a refinished center climate-control panel. The 1954 Chevrolet Corvette (Lot #774) received a frame-off restoration and is powered by a V8 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It is finished in 2015 PPG Corvette Crystal Red Tri-Coat paint with additional pearl added.
LOT #747 – 1967 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE – NO RESERVE
The custom 1967 Corvette convertible (Lot #747) was built by Hotrod Dynamics and has 422 miles since its completion. The new GM V8 engine paired to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission was professionally tuned and dyno-tested. The custom interior includes red leather interior, power windows, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air climate control, Ididit tilt steering column, Detroit Speed electric headlight door kit and a retrofit digital Bluetooth stereo. Built by Joel Rosen of Motion Performance and Baldwin Motion the 1970 custom Corvette (Lot #780.1) features a restored T-Top roof, custom body panels, side exhaust, power steering, power disc brakes and air conditioning.

A one-owner 1987 Corvette convertible (Lot #87) remains in factory configuration with its original drivetrain and has 28,496 actual miles. Also a one-owner car, the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette convertible (Lot #93) is a 50th Anniversary Edition and has 4,473 actual miles.
LOT #691 – 2019 CHEVROLET CORVETTE ZR1 CONVERTIBLE – NO RESERVE
One of 500 C7Rs produced for the model year, the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (Lot #661) is all original and powered by a supercharged, 650 horsepower V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission. It has 4,723 actual miles and is equipped with the Z07 Package, 3L7 Trim Package, and the Carbon-Fiber Package. The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 convertible (Lot #691) is powered by a supercharged V8 engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and has 1,185 actual miles. The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a mid-engine V8 paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and includes the 3LT and Z51 packages.
